A sub-assessment is created using questions from an existing assessment and is presented to the learner in a static order. You can link to a sub-assessment from an assessment activity just like you can with a regular assessment.
Sub-assessments can be used to create pre/post-assessments that should include some of the actual assessment questions.
- To add a sub-assessment, click the
button. - Give the sub-assessment a title (this is the internal title seen only by administrators--the title seen by learners is set when creating the learning product activity).
- Set a passing score for the assessment

. - Click the button to add a question.
- Click Select next to the question text to select a question.
- To remove a question, click the
. - Questions can be moved by grabbing the
icon next to the question and dragging it to a new location. - To edit an existing sub-assessment, click Edit next to the title.
- To review an existing sub-assessment, click review next to the title.
