Administrators can set a Pause Point to prevent learners from moving forward with Lesson activities. Pauses can be set to end on a certain date, or after a certain number of days have passed. This can be useful for courses that include live actions or events that must be completed before a Learner moves on to other activities.
Click the button and choose the Pause Point option.
Create a Title for thePause Point.
Select the Pause Type by choosing either "Until Date" or "Number of Days."
Designate the amount of time remaining until the activity will resume. The amount of time will be visible to the learner when they view the Pause Point.
Use Until Date to pause the learner until a certain date arrives. For example, specify 01/01/2015 and the Pause Point activity will be completed on 01/01/2015.
Use Number of Days if you want to designate a certain number of days until the activity becomes unblocked/accessible to the learner.
Create a message to learners in the Message to Learner field. The message can be up to 500 characters.
